Powerman 5000's world collides with The Viper Room

Fans packed into the Viper Room May/27/2014 to get a chance to see the long time running sci-fi rock band Powerman 5000. An eerie blue light illuminated from beneath of the drummer as the lead singer, Spider jumped right into the first song of the night, Blast off to Nowhere. Chunky power chords and bass heavy screams filled the room as Powerman 5000 reminded everyone why they have had so much interest in having their music placed into various movies, tv shows, and even video games. With 2014 coming to a close it will be very interesting to see what Powerman 5000 has in store for next year.
